Christopher
Grant is the Founder and
President of Professional Hyperbaric Associates, Incorporated and is the
CEO of ProHBO at Health Horizons in Marietta. He is an experienced professional
with over 20 years as a leader in the dive industry, 15 years in emergency
medical services, and over 9 years in hyperbaric medicine.
Mr. Grant is a native of Ohio and a graduate of Florida State University with a BS degree in Health Education. Prior to establishing ProHBO, he was the director of large hyperbaric medical centers in Florida and Georgia. He is the former editor of Scuba Times and established a hyperbaric educational and research program for Florida State University’s Academic Diving Program. Mr. Grant served as a Navy hospital corpsman for a Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit and as a Marine Corps field medic.
Currently, Mr. Grant is certified as a hyperbaric technologist (CHT) and emergency medical technician (NREMT-I). In addition, he is an instructor for the National Association of Underwater Instructors and the Divers Alert Network. He is also an Associate Member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
